Hello this is Randy with R squared Renovations. I’m a general contractor in Dallas, Texas. We’ve finishing off a small bathroom remodel. I’m going to show you how to install a faucet into a vanity top while we have it off the vanity. This is the easiest time to do it. This is one whole faucet, it also comes with a bottom plate if you were to have a vanity top with three holes and a 4 inch center, you could put this on to cover the holes and still use this faucet. This faucet has a popup drain mounted in the back, we’re just gonna slide that down into the hole. Because it’s a little hard to see I’m going to show you before we install it. This has two threaded rods that will thread up inside the bottom of the faucet. We have a rubber washer and a brass washer. We’ll put this in the hole and then add these. This will slide up in here. and then tighten these rod couplings and that will clamp the faucet in here to hold it tight on the top of the vanity. While we’ve got it off we’ll also install the popup drain. The popup drain will go together similar to the faucet. It has a metal flange that threads in here. You can take it …

fixmycabinet.com Installing a new kitchen or bathroom vanity sink cabinet bottom because your old one is water damaged is possible. In this video I explain two methods and give detailed instructions on how to remove the old one and install the new piece of wood. The first step is removing the doors. Take the old sink cabinet bottom out by cutting it from front to back so that it can be taken out in two separate pieces. This will make it easier to deal with the plumbing pipes. You can just cut a large section out of the middle of the bottom and leave a frame around the edges for the replacement to rest on. You may need to use this method it all depends on how your sink cabinet was constructed. Break off the staples protruding from the cabinet sides by wiggling them back- and-forth with a pair of dikes or electricians diagonal cutters. DO NOT JUST CUT THEM OFF! If you do, the ends will interfere with the replacement sink cabinet bottom. Clean the area with milder remover or Clorox Bleach to kill the mildew. Fabricate and install support struts by screwing them fast to the sides of the kitchen cupboard. Fasten the center support by applying L-brackets to the toe base and the back-wall. These boards are what the sink cabinet bottom will rest on. Install the new bathroom vanity or sink cabinet bottom and fasten it secure using finish nails. Re-glue the edging strip on the front of the new board. Clean the inside of the sink cabinet really good. Caulk all of the interior edges …
